About Me!

Hello my name is Jaison Moorfield! I am an aspiring game developer that focuses on QA Testing, and Gameplay Balance and Design based in Sydney, NSW, Australia. I've studied Game Design and Production for 2 years at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE). I've worked in both Unity and Unreal during my time and have done QA Testing for No Moss Studios during my studies at AIE. During my time I worked with peers to form both Bacon Pancakes and Elysian Interactive and helped in the design and development process of games made in these small teams.

Unity Engine

Used Source Control through Github in all projects. Saved all projects through Github

Project Management

Using applications such as JIRA and HacknPlan to create and tasks and log bugs or other issues that come up during development.

Unreal Engine 4 / 5

Created Minion Mayhem with my team using Unreal 4. Spent personal time practicing Unreal 5

Gameplay Design

Focused on Gameplay Design for Virtual Descent and Minion Mayhem

Documentation

Focused on documentation and formatting for Game Design Documents throughout my study and for personal projects

QA Testing

Performed QA Testing for No Moss Studios, Minion Mayhem, and Alta VR

Gameplay Balancing

Balanced all features in all projects I have made. Focused on in Virtual Descent and Minion Mayhem

Level Design

Designed greyboxes of levels for Minion Mayhem through iteration and feedback from others based off of difficulty and gameplay flow
